Meet Arleen Gil, Accounting Assistant at the Buell Foundation, where she supports the Vice President of Finance. With over a decade of experience spanning legal firms, educational institutions, and international affairs councils, she excels in overseeing budgets, managing payroll, and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.
Arleen earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Security and Diplomacy from the University of North Texas in Denton. This unique blend of knowledge, along with her accounting expertise, enables her to navigate both spreadsheets and the occasional diplomatic challenge with ease.
Originally from the vibrant city of Dallas, Arleen traded her Texan boots for Colorado’s breathtaking mountains in 2021. When she’s not crunching numbers, she dives into exciting topics like aerodynamics and aviation weather, all while working toward her private pilot license. Who knew accountants could fly?
