In an effort to support and strengthen the systems that work with and on behalf of young children and their families, we are issuing a special invitation to those in the health, mental health, family education and support fields to apply for the Buell Early Childhood Leadership program for the 2017-18 academic year. Applications for the 2017-18 cohort will open on November 15, 2016. To apply go to www.ucdenver.edu/education/buell.
The deadline to apply is January 17, 2017.
The 18-credit graduate certificate program is designed to build leadership skills for professionals working across service sectors working on behalf of children from birth to age eight and their families. A supportive, cohort-based, hybrid instructional delivery model requires students to meet in Denver for face-to-face instruction one Friday evening and one Saturday per month in addition to online work. Completion of the program affords graduates opportunities to move forward for master’s and doctoral programs in several different disciplines including Early Childhood Education.
